about me
a brief bio…
In 2013, I graduated with a Degree in English and Creative Writing. Since then I have worked as a CV Writer, a Data Entry Clerk, a Temp, a Dating Site Reviewer/underrated critic, a Course Administrator, and a Marketing Communications Coordinator.
Having made the leap into the world of freelancing, I now get to put my skills as an agitated perfectionist into writing for a living and my slight obsession with thinking outside the box within a box that I can call my profession.
In 2015, I won the ‘1000 Word Challenge’ short story competition and, more recently, one of my stories was longlisted for the 2020 Bristol Short Story Prize. I have published articles in magazines, on news and blog sites, and I have a great love for words. All good writing, whether it’s a 500-word blog post or a 2,000-word article, requires a fresh angle and a memorable voice, which is something that I like to bring to all my work.
I love writing short stories in my spare time, and when I’m not working you can find me attempting to write a novel and doing other more normal things like in the above photo.
Currently writing world’s shortest collection of short stories.
